NOTD: Nail of the Day

2 Coats
This polish is by Sinful Colors and is called Vacation TIme.I wasn’t so sure of this color at all because I usually go for nudes more in the lighter side, but this caught my eye it was kind of like a piece of shirt that looks horrid on the rack then when you put it on it actually becomes one of your favorite shirts. Another thing that worried me was that it’s a cheap nail polish and by cheap I mean this was on sale at Walgreens for only $1.00! I was fully prepared for it to glob up and never dry but, it was amazing. It dried in a very reasonable amount of time and cover nicely I only had to but on two coats!

What's your scent?

My Top 5 Perfumes

Perfume (English: /ˈpɝː.fjuːm/, French parfum pronounced: [paʁ.fœ̃]) is a mixture of fragrant essential oils and aroma compounds, fixatives, and solvents used to give the human body, animals, objects, and living spaces a pleasant scent.

Euphoria “Calvin Klein”-

This scent is  mysterious, provocative, exciting the fantasy and surprise of the black orchid creates a captivating oriental fragrance that contrasts exotic fruits, seductive florals and a rich, creamy signature.

Top notes: pomegranate, persimmon, lush green
Mid notes: lotus blossom, champaca flower, black orchid
Base notes: liquid amber, black violet, cream, mahogany
This is my one of my favorites it wares the longest out of any perfume I have. It’s a very heavy sophisticated smell.

Touch “Burberry”-
This to me is a very clean smell, it’s more for daytime. It also wares for a decent amount of time also.
This feminine scent possesses a blend of citrus and rose top notes, with floral mid notes and base notes of vanilla, oak moss and cedar

Gold “GUESS”-
This is a scent hat I have been wearing for years, this is a night time scent it’s heavy and musky.
fruity oriental fragrance with top notes of citrus, golden apple, and pineapple; a heart hyacinth, pink pepper, water lily, jasmine, and rose with a base of vanilla, musk, sandalwood, patchouli, honey, and amber

Guilty “GUCCI”-
This tends to be more of a sheer, fruity oriental than a floral oriental; it opens with a bright citrus accord, dusted with a pepper note that gives it some bite and a suggestion (but just a suggestion) of dirtiness. The top notes give off a nice glow. The heart of the fragrance has a very soft hint of lilac, still layered under the golden fruit notes, and the geranium adds a sharp greenish note while continuing the peppery effect.

Very Hollywood “MICHAEL KORS”-
I love this scent it’s a very fruity and light. I normally don’t go for fruity flowery scents but this for some reason caught my eye maybe it was the bottle because it my favorite perfume bottle. It’s a great fun spring scent.
Notes of sparkling mandarin, gardenia, and vetiver that are suited to a silver screen siren

NOTD: Nail of the Day

2 Coats
Nail Of the Day: Sally Hansen, Xtreme wear “Pacific Blue”

When I think of blue nails I think of blue eye shadow, and blue eye shadow can be disturbing, although this color caught my eye. It’s a really pretty spring blue without being a baby pastel blue. It’s a rich cobalt-periwinkle. It’s very fun and unique. It covers really well also you could definitely get away with putting on one coat if you were in a hurry. Another perk with this color is that there is no shimmer its pure cream.

Are You Feeling Guilty?

I collect perfumes, they are something that I feel bare without, in other words I can’t leave the house without spritzing myself with one…My latest perfume was given to me by my boyfriend and it’s the GUCCI GUILTY it’s my favorite scent that I have . I am not big on real sweet flowery scents. I love the original Juicy Couture but that is about as sweet as I will go. The Gucci Guilty is such a clean smelling fresh musky scent…the only thing down fall is that it doesn’t ware long at all.

If you like the scents Euphoria and Guess Gold you will fall in love with this. It’s a very sophisticated scent there is nothing juvenile about it.  I got the 2.5 oz and that retails for about $110 at Macys.
The notes are mandarin, pink pepper, peach, lilac, geranium, amber, and patchouli.

"902 Craving Coral"

"092 Blue Lagoon"
Spring is my favorite season for new nail polish colors, there for my trips to the drugstores become a little more frequent so, in order to keep it all in my budget I find ways to cut costs, The best store to do this is Wallgreens. They are really good about coupons, register rewards, and in store soupons you can practicaly get them for FREE!!

Example: You have a manufacture's coupon for $1.00 off any revlon cosmetic....you go to the store and all revlon cosmetics are on sale "which they usually are"This spring Wallgreens has a in store coupon for $1.00 off any Revlon product in thier " Spring Beauty Guide". This can be found at the beauty counter. Wallgreens lets you use both coupons!!!

Spring Beauty Guide "Free"
So with the savings right there you have saved $2.00 not including if the polish was already on sale.Usually the Revlon nail polish retails for about $3.49. With coupons you have saved 50% .  With the Remaining Blanace of about $1.49 you can use the "Register Rewards" you have previously recieved from purchases to use on the nail polish....at that point you have gotton it FREE!

So with all of that being said I urge you to go to your local Wallgreens and find a polish that will add a burst of color to your day :)

$ Oh The Money You Can Save $

STACKING, DOUBLE, REGISTER REWARDS and FREE were the words of the day!
Normally all of this would cost about $110.00 with tax....I got it for $27.00.

I would say my first EXTREME couponing trip was a sucess :)

My April Product Review "The good, bad and the I want my money back!!!"

This month I tried a lot of new products, but only ended up with a handfull I would buy again.

Lip Balms & Such:

Neutrogena Naturals Lip Balm: I purchased this at Wallgreens and....its really BORING I didn't think it was anything special especially for 3.99 its nice though because it is natural and has no harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dyes or phthalates so it makes you feel good about putting it on :)

EOS Lip Balm: I have heard and seen so many articles talking and advertising this brand. Therefor I had to try it. I purchased the "Lemon Drop" flavor it's not my favorite I would rather have a minty type flavor but, it's better then tropical punch or some wierd fruity flavor. The pakaging is cool and its nice because I can have it on my desk because of the way its shaped it won't fall over every time something is set down on the desk.

Cover Girl Wetslcks Fruit Spritzers: This was a horrible purchase! I put it in and was the goopiest, sticky, mess on my lips and many lip glosses are but, this took goopy to another level. I would not purchase it ever again and not recomend it to anyone.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm " Honeysuckle: I love this lip balm. I rarely ever put color on my lips I normally go for nudes, so this is deff a fav!!

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm: This has and I think always will be my favorite. I love the minty taste and if has a cooling feeling also which I love <3

Hair Products & Such

John Frieda Anytime Volume Refresher: This product is great. I have not used many dry shampoo's but, from what I have used I really like it. The reason I purchased it was because i'm trying not to wash my hair everyday because the whole " I'ts better for your hair" reason. I have used it for a few weeks on and off. It really absorbes the oils in your hair and lasts.

got 2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Hairspray: I am so so picky about my hairspray's. The only one I have been using for the last 4 years is "So Sexy" by Victoria's Secret. I think it will be the last time I buy the got 2b though it wasn't anything special, plus i've never really been a fan of the brand.

John Frieda 3-Day Straight: I love this product! I will be buying this for a long time. I never go 3 days without washing my hair because it just is gross so i wash my hair every day if not every other, although I use this every time I get ready becuse it makes your hair feel so nice and smooth. The heat activates the product so by the time I blowout my hair its already pretty straight. I recoment this product!!

Wild Harvest Hair Silk drops: This product did nothing for me. I am always to worried  that I am going to put to much in because a little is even to much, and if you put just a little to much in....goodbuy hair!! you will look like you have not washed your hair in weeks!

Lotions & Such

Neutrogena Body Oil: This is an ehhh product I would rather put loition on instead of oil. Although it smells nice. I think it leaves you feeling greasy.

Burt's Bees "Milk & Honey" Body Lotion: This is my favorite product so far this whole year! I tried it just because I wanted to see if it actually smelled like milk and honey. I was extreemly suprised that it didnt and how good it smelled. It leaves you skin so silky and greasy at all. Its 99% percent natural which is always a plus. It's also affordable only $8.99 depending on where you buy it. I loved it so much I went back and bought 2 more one for my purse and onother one for my bathroom.

Cosmetics & Such

Rimmel Glam Eyes Mascara: I was suprised on how much I like this because I am dedicated to Lancome's mascaras. Ususally drug store mascaras are always so big an they clump. This has a really small brush and is really good for your lower lashes.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup: For how this drugstore foundation being so prict my exectations were pretty high and at 12.97 I was not impressed. It made my skin oily and didnt stay on long . I like the way it covered when I appiled it. It had a dewy type look. This has light to medium coverage but, that didnt last long.

Revlon Nail Polih "Craving Coral": This is my new favorite color especially for the summer. Its just red enought with a tint or orange and coral. Its a very fun color :)

With all of the being said my favorie thing I bought was the Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Lotion!!
